Mr. Amr Ahmed is the Chief Executive of Pak-Arab Pipeline Company (PAPCO) with an additional charge of Managing Director, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO). His areas of expertise include LNG, Downstream Oil, gas & power: Project development, project execution, business development, operations. He has extensive experience in the oil, gas and energy industry and has worked with Mubadala Investment Co., UAE, Siemens Energy, Shell Pakistan, National Power, UK and Engro. He holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, USA and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Hull, UK.

Mr. Irteza Ali Qureshi is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of proven track record in developing business strategies and delivering results, value creation, turning around loss-making operations, organizational alignment & restructuring, developing organizational capability and infrastructure, acquisitions and business development. Mr. Qureshi started his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, London in 1991 and has held senior management positions in the fields of General and Financial Management within private and public sectors and multi-national organizations within and outside Pakistan. Mr. Qureshi brings with him diverse experience in the areas of Operations, Finance, Audit, Consultancy, Treasury and Business Development.

Mr. Adnan Omar Bu Fateem

Adnan Omar Bu Fateem is responsible for leading the global technical assurance activities for Mubadala Petroleum’s operated business in Southeast Asia. He brings with him over 20 years of experience gained in diverse work experience in the oil & gas sector, such as Exploration, Fields Development, Growth projects, Reservoir Characterization and Research. Adnan joined Mubadala Petroleum in 2010 and has held various positions from Exploration Manager, Lead Geologist and Director of Exploration, leading the integrated functional development of Exploration and Digital Data Management processes, systems, and capability across global portfolio. Most recently, Adnan is playing a key role in leading the organization’s global digital transformation process, as the Chairman of the Digital Transformation Committee at Mubadala Petroleum. Prior joining Mubadala Petroleum, Adnan worked as Senior Reservoir Geologist at Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, where he was responsible for the subsurface activities and managing all wells planning, data gathering/QC, data analysis, integration and building 3D static models. Adnan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the United Arab Emirates University, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain. Additionally, he serves on the Boards of Directors for Gazpromneft Vostok, and Pak-Arab Refinery (PARCO) as Vice Chairman.

Mr. Friedrich Danzinger, Project Director for the NAWARA Project, Tnisia and has been associated with OMV for over two decades. He studied Technical Chemistry at the Technical University of Vienna, having passed with distinction, and has further qualifications in General Management Education from IMD Business School, Lausanne, and Ashridge Business School, UK. Mr. Danzinger was also a member of the Commissioning Team for PARCO refinery in Mahmood Kot.

Mr. Waqar Irshad Siddiqui

Mr. Waqar Siddiqui is the CEO & MD of Shell Pakistan Limited. Mr. Waqar joined SPL in 2001 and has since held several roles locally and internationally at senior leadership positions. In his 24 years of oil downstream experience, he has successfully guided Shell companies through organizational change, strategy development, mergers/acquisitions and achieving consistent performance delivery. His last role before returning to Pakistan was Managing Director of Shell Downstream Retail in PT Shell Indonesia. He has been a Director on the Board of SPL since 2019. He holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and MBA in Marketing. In addition, he holds academic and professional accreditations from Harvard Business School and University of British Columbia.

Mr. Zarrar Mahmud is the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director of Shell Pakistan Limited. Zarrar joined Shell 13 years ago and has had diverse experience across many geographies such as Singapore, Brunei, Oman, Pakistan, Middle East, Central Asia and Asia Pacific. He has held roles in Integrated Gas and in almost every Downstream marketing business such as Lubricants, Retail, Commercial Fuels and Aviation. His roles include Shareholder FM in IG NOVs, Shell Director in UAE (T&S) and Saudi Arabia (Avn), Regional FM across 10 countries, Retail Country FM for PK, UAE Lubes FM and Pricing Specialist. Zarrar has a proven track record of delivery, his focus on cash, execution and delivery is comprehensive and complete. He is also a natural leader with a passion for people development. Zarrar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the London School of Economics and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Cass Business School London.

Mr. Muhammad Owais Sultan is the NA Crude/ Road Transport HSSE Manager at Shell US Hosting Company. He has been associated with Shell Limited for more than 25 years and has extensive experience. He has experience in operational management, operational excellence and HSSE performance. He has a Masters of Science, Mechanical Engineering and Masters of Science Certificate, Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

Syed Muhammad Taha has over two decades of executive level experience in the industry. He was appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan State Oil on February 26, 2020. His areas of expertise are essentially in the energy sector with a proven track record of transforming ailing companies with flawless execution and implementation of strategies and projects while creating long-term value for the organizations. Prior to his current position, Mr. Taha worked as an Executive Director in Oasis Energy, heading the Program Management Office of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, Nigeria. Mr. Taha worked at K-Electric Limited as Chief Distribution Officer and a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team. Mr. Taha has also worked for over 9 years at Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO), the country’s largest oil marketing company, where he held several senior positions and led various functions as Head of Corporate Affairs, Retail Fuels, Cards Business and Corporate Planning and worked directly under CEOs. For around 6 years starting from 1993 to 1999, Mr. Taha worked for Shell Pakistan, Caltex Pakistan (A Chevron Company) and Pakistan Steel Mills at various positions. Mr. Taha holds an Engineering degree with an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration Karachi. He holds an engineering degree with an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, previously affiliated with University of Pennsylvania, Wharton.
