PAPCO is committed towards enhancing and improving the life of the community at large and helping them achieve self reliance. The Company has been supporting various institutions to develop skilled workforce for the country.
PAPCO in line with these CSR objectives contributed at the SOS Technical Training Institute which aims at providing a high standard of technical and vocational training to SOS children, students of Korangi Academy and other under-privileged and deserving boys and girls. After acquiring technical education, students are in a position to secure gainful employment to support their families. The institute conducts subsidized courses to the underprivileged students on general electrician, machinist, motorcycle mechanics, welding and computer courses. Each course is of six months duration and recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education.
PAPCO provided equipment to introduce the automobile mechanic course at SOS TTI. The course is benefitting a lot of students in gaining the hands on training on actual automotive equipment provided by PAPCO. The program was aimed at providing self-reliance to the youth with certified training background.
